The BrandLab Wins 2024 Hermes Creative Platinum Award for State of the Industry Report
We’re honored to share that The BrandLab, in partnership with Fusion Hill, has received a 2024 Hermes Creative Platinum Award for our 2023 State of the Marketing and Advertising Industry Report, recognized under the Integrated Marketing Campaign category.
Out of over 6,500 global submissions, only 17% received Platinum honors, making this recognition even more meaningful.
The biennial report, released in late 2023, sheds light on the systemic inequities still present across our industry. With five core findings, it provides an unflinching look at where we are and where we need to go:
- The industry is still far less diverse than the general population.
- BIPOC employees have vastly different workplace experiences than their white colleagues.
- People of color remain disproportionately in lower-seniority roles.
- Commitment to DEI has decreased since the racial reckoning of 2020.
- Many employees of color are considering leaving due to a lack of belonging.
This recognition is more than an award, it’s a reminder of why the work matters. The report continues to serve as a vital tool for transparency, accountability, and action.
